Covers and keyboards

Covers and/or membrane keyboards are functional and graphic elements usually made of polyester or polycarbonate that offer a very interesting aesthetic, combined with very high printing durability.

All electronic equipment, electromedical devices, industrial equipment and appliances are widely used products. They allow infinite customization and can incorporate electronics on the back with ultra-thin pulsating elements.

Polycarbonate covers

All electronic equipment, electromedical devices, industrial equipment and appliances are widely used products. They allow infinite customization and can incorporate electronics on the back with ultra-thin pulsating elements. The polycarbonate covers are somewhat flexible and adapt well to different surfaces and supports. They require a more rigid surface that serves as support to give rigidity to the panel.

Polycarbonate is a material that is very resistant to impacts and scratches and is therefore a material also widely used to manufacture control fronts.

Polycarbonate covers can be with different finishes.

Glitter effect. It offers an elegant feel and gives a sophisticated look to the product.
Textured matte effect. Avoid reflections that can make the instructions difficult to read.
Available thicknesses: 0.175mm-0.25mm-0.375mm (matte text)-0.5mm-0.75mm (glossy)-1mm (glossy)
Smooth matte effect. Available only in 0.250mm thickness
Textured glitter effect. Available only in 0.250mm thickness

Polyester covers

Like polycarbonate covers, they are fronts widely used in electronic equipment, electromedical devices, industrial equipment and appliances. They allow infinite customization and can incorporate electronics on the back with ultra-thin pulsating elements.

Polyester covers are somewhat more flexible than polycarbonate covers and adapt very well to different surfaces and supports. These also require a more rigid surface that serves as support to give rigidity to the panel.

Polyester is a somewhat less resistant material that is resistant to impacts and scratches than polycarbonate, but nevertheless it resists high temperatures very well, so polyester covers are a great alternative for electronic equipment that requires a flexible front and is exposed. at a certain temperature.

The polyester covers can have two different finishes.

Glossy silver polyester (mirror) and white color 0.07mm (self-adhesive)
Shine-shiny. 0.125mm
Textured Matte 0.175mm

Adhesive covers

Generally, flexible covers usually require a back adhesive to adhere strongly to a more rigid support. Since this support can be made of different materials and with different treatments (anodized, painted, polyester, etc.) we have a wide range of high quality adhesives capable of adapting to any of the required surfaces.

It is important to consider the application environment and conditions when selecting the appropriate adhesive. For example, if the covers will be exposed to the elements or extreme temperature conditions, it is essential to choose a weather-resistant adhesive to ensure a long-lasting, reliable adhesion.

Embossed covers

On many occasions the client requires that some areas of the covers have a certain relief to be highlighted or even to serve as keys. It is possible to give this finish to the covers using different techniques that will depend on the manufacturing batch and the desired aesthetics.

To achieve this effect, techniques such as dry embossing, laser engraving or thermoforming can be used. Each method has its advantages and limitations, so it is important to evaluate the needs of the project and select the most appropriate technique to obtain the desired result and guarantee the strength and durability of the relief, to ensure that it can withstand continuous use without deteriorating.
