Painted aluminium control panels offer a versatile solution when product design or end-customer requirements demand painted finishes with different textures and gloss levels. Painted control panels: versatility of colour and finish

Due to design or end-customer requirements, panels can be manufactured with a painted finish in different textures and gloss levels. Powder coating (thermoformed at 180-200°C) offers the highest mechanical and chemical resistance, while water-based paint provides superior colour levelling and is the most sustainable option.

We can manufacture these panels with water-based or powder paint, offering a wide range of options depending on finish requirements, production batch and delivery time. Soft-touch and textured finishes add distinctive tactile value that enhances the end user experience of the product.

Applications and sectors

Painted panels are particularly in demand for appliances (ovens, dishwashers, extractor hoods), laboratory equipment and food processing machinery, where a clean aesthetic with specific brand or model colours is required. Powder coating withstands intensive cleaning cycles with alkaline detergents without degrading.

The manufacturing process includes CNC cutting and machining of the aluminium, degreasing and chemical pre-treatment of the surface, paint application and oven curing. Graphics are then applied by screen printing or UV digital printing, which adheres to the cured paint layer with excellent adhesion.
