3M adhesive labels: industrial reference adhesives
3M is synonymous with high-performance adhesives. Their formulations — acrylic, synthetic rubber and silicone — are designed to provide immediate adhesion and long-term permanence on difficult surfaces: textured metals, low surface-energy plastics, powder-coated painted surfaces and composite materials. 3M adhesive labels are used when bond reliability is critical and detachment failures are not acceptable.
Typical applications include fixing identification plates on vibration-prone machinery, mounting emblems on vehicles exposed to pressure washing, installing outdoor signage and sealing electronic components in equipment operating over wide temperature ranges. Among their ranges, 3M VHB (Very High Bond) adhesives can replace mechanical fixings in lightweight structural applications, but the 3M offer also includes acrylic, synthetic rubber and silicone adhesives, each selected based on the specific requirements of each project.
