Adhesive labels for beer: the visual identity of every brewer

In an increasingly competitive beer market, the label is the main differentiating element on the shelf. Beer adhesive labels must convey the personality of the brand — craft, classic, irreverent, premium — while withstanding real consumption conditions: immersion in ice buckets, constant condensation when taken out of the refrigerator, handling with wet hands and exposure to sunlight on terraces.

The most common materials are metalised polypropylene (premium beer effect), coated paper with water-resistant varnish (classic look), kraft paper (craft image) and transparent polypropylene (no-label effect that reveals the colour of the liquid). The adhesive must resist condensation without peeling off and, in the case of returnable bottles, allow clean removal in the bottler's washing tunnels.

Regulations and customisation

The beer label must include denomination, ingredients, volume, alcohol content, batch, best before date and producer data.
