Adhesive labels for oil bottles: image and compliance on every container

Olive oil is a premium product where the label plays a fundamental role in quality perception and purchase decisions. European regulations require including the exact category of the oil (extra virgin, virgin, olive oil, olive pomace oil), its origin, net weight, best before date, nutritional information and packer data. All this information must be displayed in a legible and attractive way in the limited space of a bottle.

Adhesive labels for oil bottles are manufactured with materials that resist contact with grease: if oil spills on the label during serving or storage, it must not absorb it, stain or peel off. The recommended substrates are polypropylene and coated paper with oleophobic varnish. The adhesive must work on both glass and PET, the two bottle materials most used in the olive oil sector.
