Eco adhesive labels: responsible identification for the environment

The demand for sustainable labelling is growing across all sectors. Eco adhesive labels respond to this need using papers made with post-consumer recycled fibre, certified compostable materials or plant-based films (PLA, sugar cane). Adhesives can also be water-based, solvent-free and compliant with industrial compostability standards such as EN 13432.

These materials maintain a print quality comparable to conventional labelling: sharp four-colour process, precise die-cutting and finishes such as water-based varnish or hot stamping with recyclable foils. The natural texture of recycled paper, with its slightly warm tone and fibrous feel, has become a branding element that communicates environmental commitment visibly and immediately.

Sectors and regulations

Organic food, natural cosmetics, sustainable textiles and premium packaging are the main consumers of eco labels. Many certifications (Ecolabel, FSC, PEFC, OK Compost) require that product labelling is consistent with the environmental positioning.
