Laminated adhesive labels: extra protection for demanding environments
Laminated adhesive labels incorporate a laminate layer — matt, gloss or satin — applied over the printed surface. This coating acts as a physical barrier against rubbing, moisture, mild solvents and UV radiation. The result is a label whose print does not fade or scratch during normal product handling, prolonged storage or outdoor exposure.
The laminating process can be done with polypropylene (OPP), polyester (PET) or polyethylene (PE) film, each with specific properties of transparency, rigidity and service temperature. Matt laminate reduces reflections and provides a soft feel, while gloss intensifies colours and creates a more eye-catching visual effect.
