Small adhesive labels: solutions for minimal spaces
Small adhesive labels are designed for applications where labelling space is limited: electronic components, jewellery, watchmaking, medical instruments, cables, connectors and miniature packaging. Their dimensions range from 5x3 mm (PCB and chip identification) to 30x15 mm (jewellery price labels or inventory labels for small tools).
Printing in such reduced formats requires high-resolution techniques: UV digital printing (up to 1440 dpi), fine screen-printing or laser engraving. Texts are reproduced in bodies from 3-4 points, and barcodes or QR codes are generated in minimum sizes readable by short-range scanners.
Materials and fixing
Mini adhesive labels are manufactured in polyester (temperature and solvent resistance), aluminium (industrial permanence), vinyl (flexibility on tight curves) and coated paper (economical indoor use). The adhesive is high initial-tack to ensure fixing on surfaces with reduced contact area.
Supplied in sheet (die-cut on liner) or in reel with tight spacing for precise dispensing. Die-cutting can be rectangular, circular or oval.
