Security adhesive labels: protection against tampering
Security adhesive labels incorporate mechanisms that make any attempt to remove or alter them visible. When peeled, they leave a permanent residue with the text "VOID" or "OPENED" on the surface, making the tampering evident. This type of label is used to seal shipments, guarantee the inviolability of electronic equipment, protect access to electrical panels and certify that a product has not been opened since leaving the factory.
The most commonly used materials are destructible polyester (which fragments when removed), VOID vinyl (which transfers a message to the substrate) and holographic labels with sequential numbering. Depending on the application, the adhesive can be permanent, leaving visible residue, or ultra-destructible, breaking the label into irrecoverable fragments.
