Transparent adhesive labels: materials and finishes
Transparent adhesive labels are manufactured in transparent polypropylene (PP) or transparent vinyl (PVC). Polypropylene is the most widely used option: flexible, moisture-resistant and recyclable with the packaging. Transparent vinyl adhesive labels offer greater conformability on curved surfaces and superior resistance to solvents and chemicals.
Printing of transparent adhesive labels is performed in digital four-colour process or screen-printing, adding a selective white layer behind colours that need opacity (logos, legal texts) while the rest of the label remains transparent. The result is a piece where the ink appears printed directly on the packaging.

Custom transparent adhesive labels adapt to any shape and size. Transparent round adhesive labels are highly sought after for bag closures, warranty seals and minimalist branding on jars and bottles. Rectangular, oval and logo-silhouette die-cut shapes are also available.
Custom transparent adhesive labels can include finishes such as embossed varnish (tactile texture on the logo area), gold or silver stamping and soft-touch matt laminate.
