Plastic injection and vinyl for corporate logos
The combination of plastic injection moulding and plotted vinyl is an advanced technique that allows the manufacture of logos and emblems with complex three-dimensional shapes and high-resolution graphic customisation. The base piece is injection-moulded in materials such as ABS, polycarbonate or PMMA, and a plotter-cut vinyl with exact corporate colours and designs is subsequently applied.
This technique allows finishes not possible with metal: transparencies, gradients, surface textures and gloss/matte combinations in the same piece. The plotted vinyl adheres with millimetre precision, meeting the tolerances demanded by the most exacting brands.
Applications of injection moulding with vinyl
Injection-moulded logos with vinyl are used in automotive (door and tailgate emblems), consumer electronics (casing badges), sports equipment (logos on helmets and gear) and premium retail. Plastic injection moulding allows fixing systems (clips, pegs, guides) to be integrated directly into the piece, eliminating the need for adhesives.
