White aluminium sheet: coating characteristics

White aluminium sheet is an aluminium sheet coated with a layer of polyester, epoxy or white lacquer that gives it a uniform, opaque background. This coating is applied by coil coating (continuous lacquering before cutting) or powder lacquering on cut pieces, ensuring complete adhesion and resistance to impact and bending without cracking.

White aluminium sheets are available in matt finish (ideal for laser engraving, as it creates contrast with the natural aluminium revealed by engraving) and gloss (optimal for UV digital printing, as it intensifies colours).

White aluminium sheets for printing and sublimation

White aluminium sheets are the standard support for sublimation on metal: sublimation ink is transferred to the white polyester coating under heat and pressure, producing photographic-resolution images with vivid, saturated colours. Sublimated white aluminium sheet is used in posters, photographic plates, awards, merchandise and wall decoration.

White aluminium sheet also works as a base for direct UV digital printing when no sublimation press is available. In both cases, the white background acts as a base layer that reflects light through the ink, making additional white printing unnecessary.

Applications of white aluminium plate

White aluminium plate is used in road signage (signs with reflective white background), building directories, door plates, machinery labels with colour diagrams, information panels and indoor and outdoor advertising supports. Its resistance to moisture and UV makes it suitable for both permanent indoor installations and protected outdoor signage.
