Brass for gates and exterior access
When the plate is installed on a gate or exterior door, a protective lacquer or clear varnish is applied to prevent oxidation and maintain shine for years. In coastal areas or humid environments, an additional anti-salt treatment is recommended. The minimum recommended thickness for outdoor use is 1 mm, as it guarantees sufficient rigidity against vibration and accidental impacts.
