Stainless steel sheets for doors: durable signage
A stainless steel door plate withstands frequent contact from hands, keys and objects without scratching or losing information. Unlike plastic materials or adhesives, stainless steel maintains its original appearance for years in office corridors, hospitals, hotels and high-traffic public buildings.
Stainless steel door sheets are manufactured in thicknesses of 0.8 to 2 mm and can be engraved with names, room numbers, accessibility pictograms or corporate logos. The most common finishes are brushed (conceals fingerprints and minor marks) and mirror (maximum visual impact in representative environments).
Steel sheets for doors: fixing and formats
Steel sheets for doors are fixed with double-sided structural adhesive, decorative visible-head screws or rear concealed anchors. The adhesive system is the cleanest, as it does not perforate the door, while mechanical fixing is preferable on fire doors or high-security doors where manipulation resistance is required.
Standard formats are horizontal rectangular (for name + title) and vertical rectangular (for floor or room number), although any custom geometry is possible through laser cutting.
